The impact of digital evidence privacy on cybercrime prosecution
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study explores the impact of modern technology on the nature of cybercrime evidence, which is invisible and intangible. The study also examines the impact on the methods used in investigating and inquiring into this type of evidence, as well as the procedures for presenting it in court. Furthermore, the study addresses the handling of this new, notably complex and multifaceted type of evidence and the extent to which judicial discretion remains stable in the face of scientific evidence that is, in principle, free from ambiguity or doubt regarding its validity. We present the results derived from our findings on these points.
